JCPenney sales conference

JCPenney kicks off the new year with their sales conference in Dallas. Corporate Magic asked Magic video to produce several videos in 16X9 wide screen format for the sales conference. Opening video, titled "Turnaround" walked the audience through the remarkable resurrection of JCPenney beginning in 2000. The video was jam-packed with information, numbers, and references to important events over the last 5 years. All of this was explained using an actor as spokesperson who walked through a virtual world filled with text, images and video that supported his story.

HDV vs. HDCAM vs. DVCProHD

Magic Video a member of DPA hosted the first meeting of 06 for Dallas Producers Association. Topic of the meeting was HDV vs. HDCAM vs. DVCProHD. A diverse panel of HD professionals including Magic Video’s Bobby Mosaedi was on- hand to cover all facets of current HD technology spanning equipment manufacturers, DPs, editors and directors. Representatives from JVC Professional Products and other manufacturers of HD equipment were on-hand for showing off their HD products. Participants also toured Magic Video’s studio facilities.
